Pythagoras is another dissection puzzle game with 7 pieces, 4 triangles in different size, 2 squares and 1 diamond. The objective of this game is to form a given shape using all 7 pieces without overlapping. This game is almost identical to 'Tangram' except the size and shape of the pieces.
Thousands of shapes can be made by moving simple shaped pieces around. This puzzle game is specially great for children to practice matching skill. You may think this is only children's game, but you will find it challenging once you try it.
Print option was added in version 1.1.
Registered version has lots of features including editor, help and hundreds of puzzles. You can create your own puzzles with editor.

Pythagoras was tested on color and B/W Macs under System 6 and 7 with 32 bit mode on and off. Pythagoras should have no problem running on any Mac from MacPlus to PowerPC Macs.
Although all the inits (system extensions) and cdevs (control pannel documents) provided with Apple's original system softwares seem to be compatible with the programs, some inits and cdevs may cause the problem.
If the program crashes your machine, please turn off as many inits and cdevs as possible. If you use system 7, all the system extensions can be disabled by holding down shift key until you see the welcome message when you turn on your Mac. If you cannot run Pythagoras, please send the detailed system description to the author.
